Simon the Invisible

So here is one of my few instances of fan art. I needed something to pull me from my utter disinterest in anything productive.

This is Simon. He is from the Hulu-exclusive series "Misfits." The show is very entertaining, though the whole premise is a little hard to swallow. [First episode spoiler alert] Basically in a freak electrical storm, 5 delinquents sentenced to community service are given super powers (a la Heroes) as well as much of the rest of the city. It's like the director is saying, "It gets good if you just go with it and don't question anything." Either way, I do love the character dynamics they have going. Simon's power is invisibility, in case you were wondering. I was compelled to capture that icy stare of his.

Anyways, hopefully my next project will be more portfolio-friendly. I just needed to try this one out.
